    cooling on track

i am having a real big headache about this since i saw
110 degrees celcius at castle combe action day on a 15 minute
    session .

so what are you regular track hoes out there using to keep the
engine temperatures low on track ?
oil coolers ? alloy race radiators etc ??

I am concerned about this too, as my car will be travelling faster due to more power this year and I don't want a repeat of last year with a buggered bottom end.

I saw 120 last year in my car just before it went bang.

I am a little confused with regards to the oil cooler.....do williams have these fitted as standard?

if not, how much are they and are they easy to install?

Some have a coolant cooled oil cooler, but when the coolant is hot trying to cool hot oil....you get the idea.

These we are on about is an extra little radiator which the oil flows through.

You can see mine under the number plate

i have the mocal oil cooler set up, has the thermostatic valve in the filter sandwhich so it doesnt cirulate all the time

helps massively on track as before i was hitting really high temps on a hot day and now its always below 100, although tbh i cant remember exact figures now as i havent used the car for abit lol
