    battery light

    hey guys my battery light flashes on and off when driving along. i checked the terminals and they look fine. any ideas what it could be? cheers

    alternator on its way out..

    check what voltage your getting across the terminals with a multimeter on idle

    £80 -£100

    fitment isnt hard its just awkward...like most of the stuff in the engine bay.

    if you wanted to make it easier pop out the rad to give your self some more room

    it might just be the brush pack, i had a reconned clio 1.9 diesel 90 amp alternator fitted onto mine. the body is larger and its a snug fit, but it fits. checked the brushes on the old alternator and they were worn, so im going to get a new brush pack and keep it as a spare.
