The exhausts break due to no support at the manifold to block end.

When supported they are fine. Mine has been on a good 5 / 6 years now with no trouble.

Thanks for the info. How is yours supported? Extra bracket?

YES, in the exact same place as the standard one mounts too.

Agree, its sloppy engine mounts that cause the cracking..

I am being a bit ignorant here. I know of the standard manifold mounting points but they don't look like they match up in any way to the Supersprint ones:

    Supersprint mani and d/p:

    OE:

How is the bracketry the same? Cant see a mount for the SS one that would match...

i made my own up mate, looks easy to do on a supersprint.

I used 5mm plate bent and cut to shape.

I have a Prowler exhaust so mine mounts differantly.

I got this one from Italy.

I had a supersprint one - but i sold it on to Richy. TBH the supersprint ones are better but the Prowler / Powerful ones are easier to support due to the design of clamps....

This is the one on my williams 3 when it was new....ive tried to show the hanger i made

    Wow! That's impressive Northy.

Looks nice down there. I think I could use the same method and create a decent bracket to the bracket on the SS, the bit that clamps the d/p to the mani normally, or even better, two of the clamp points, use a different nut and bolt, job done!
