    electric window

    my drivers side electric window wont go up or down. what do you think is the problem and what do i need to get to fix it? cheers

    passenger side window

    probably dodgy swith?

    my passenger window opens and closes really slowly. anyone else experience this?

    Check if you have a weak battery first. The passenger window slows a lot when the battery is on its way out.

    When mine were slow it was cause of fifteen
    years of shit in the runners I sent the window
    down put a rubber floor mat over the window
    preaure washed in the runners with fairy
    and a pressure washer obiviously
    then got some silicone upholstry spary from my
    local factors! Amazing the difference u should try it

    I think the problem could be due to the "one shot" up and down system on the driver's window which senses the torque on the motor. This stops the window if it senses the torque is above a certain level to prevent trapping fingers/arms etc. During cold weather when the rubbers and grease in the linkage stiffen up the system stops the motor from operating as the torque on the motor is too high.
    I'm not sure if keeping your finger on the switch overrides the torque sensing.
