    Photo enlargements / posters

I want to get some pictures of the Clio and other cars blown up to a big size to stick on the garage wall. Not your everyday photo enlargement but something at least 3 foot by 2 foot or so, maybe printed onto canvas. Has anyone ever had any photos done by any of these online companies they can recommend were good and/or are well priced?

    Thanks

    Snapfish are pretty good.

Please dont use tesco/asda etc their printers are shocking!

If not then goto ur local specialist camera shop they are bond to have a good set of printers.

If u want one that size the pic will need to be excellent quality - like over 10megpix for it to still have good effect anything less will distort

I've had loads done at specialist printers on the high street, pretty good stuff usually.

Cheers. The pics are from a 6 mega pixel camera. It's a pukka SLR (D60) though so the quality should at least be as good as those 10 mega-pixel compacts I've seen recently. In TIFF format it's about 20 MB per picture - I guess there is probably somewhere I can look up how big a file can be printed at what size without too much degradation before I take the plunge.

There's some cheap canvas printing on ebay that I'm going to try nect time!

Last time I used a company based in scotland - sounded like a run from home business lol but quality and service was great

Will have to dig the email out next week...

Still quite expensive getting canvas done though. Think I paid £40 for a 20"x20".
