guys u can go fairly crazy on cam profile if you have the compression to go with it. large duration cams loose the dynamic compression at low revs, as the valve closes when the piston is half way up the compression stroke. so i would definately use hi comp pistons as this will not only increase top end but low and mid power. these large overlap cams make power up high as there is scavenge effect from said overlap.
my valver was 165bhp at 8k with hi compression from head skims with cams and was totally driveable smooth and lovely
