Bought my Williams 1 after seeing it in the classifieds.
I thought, it must be a valver with wheels painted in gold, and I thought, naah, no way it could be original. Because, it's simple, in 1991. the war striked Croatia, and it made terrible concequences.
People were killed, no food, no money, no gasoline...
So none of the Renault dealers hardley sold any cars, not just williams. They weren't importing it to Croatia at all. So that's the reason why they are so rare in Croatia. And you can't import it, because you can't import car that's older than 7 years. And until 2000. noone imported williams, the ones that were imported were race cars...

So I had my five GTT and my 106 GTI as a daily, sit in my GTI and went for 400km. The rest is history :D

As in UK you have owners clubs for every brand, etc. I presumed the Williams has to have alot of fans. Found this page in a sec via Google.

I think you would get more interest if you posted some pictures and a detailed description of the car in the 'for sale' section. If someone is looking for such a car and isn't a frequent visitor to the site then that is where they are going to end up when looking, whereas this thread is only likely to be read by more regular members.

Oh, and since I'm now posting in this thread, I've had my Williams about 3 years and my 16 valve nearly 16 years
