MK1 Clio Cup Car

Would make great track day car, or could still be raced. Some have even been converted to Tarmac Rally Cars.

Windscreen cracked, and gearbox diff casing cracked. I think the engine has done about 5-6 hours running since last rebuilt, but can't prove.

Plently of detail pictures available if required, and car is near J27 of M1, north of Nottingham.

Had a few offers to break, but would prefer to sell complete.

looks like its had another engine at some point and a front bumper. something not right here at first glance, could be wrong though

Its a 1.4 bumper. Has it been in a front end collision at all?

Not in the time I've owned it (5-6 years), but I'm sure in its time it's got a little to close to other cars or the scenary!!
See pics, there has been some repair work done at the front, but can't see anything structural.

The LH rear qtr also appears to have had some filler added.

As for the bumper I'm sure after the official series ended, its was a case of what was available at the local breakers rather than the Renault Sport prices!!

at the end of the day this car has been a race car all its life - so like most its been repaired at some point.

So the normal ' never raced / rallyed ' doent apply.

Some people will just stick any part on - not knowing there is a differance. Evo_uk's car had exactly the same bumper on when he bought it. Easy part to change

I was merely pointing out which bumper it was as rich asked.


And im in 2 minds whether to get a second car and was curious whether there had been a crash that the owner knew about.
