    Willy 3 Full restoration

Finally got to the point where my W3 is broadcastable! Bought it from a salvage yard and thought it was worth saving, although it has needed far more than first expected.

Rear arches were replaced and engine has been doing the oky koky (in out in out) cos of a oil leak, gearbox change, paddle clutch and lightenerd flywheel. Just needs few parts and maybe wheels refurbing then i'll be happy.

Next project is the Dimma clio no 24, it will have a williams engine and running gear plus other goodies. We are nearlly ready for the House of Kolor paint as you can prob see on the photo in the background, its in its nice green primer state at the mo!!:D

Its really nice to see someone making the effort to save one of these little legends! So often I am dismayed to see people braking them for parts or sending them to Clio heaven :(

    Yey!

Looks awesome - Where did you get the spray done? Spend much on it?

Looking at getting mine sprayed, it'll be mint if I do so it's an attractive option, just don't want to waste bundles of cash.

Thanks for the comments. We have our own bodyshop www.ST-performance.co.uk so I prepped it and my biz partner sprayed it so we have been sorting it in between jobs. To be honest we would never undertake a paint strippered car again as its so hard to arrest the stripper if its soaked into the metal of the bodywork, but as Wobba said its one more saved and im going to track day it/ weekend car as its just too loud for my daily drive

Yes the shitty stickers with that are approved by williamsclio.co.uk, was waiting for someone to mention them before i did!

I only ordered them on this site's approval

Why have they been approved but the colour so way out? :(

looks nice - good to see one saved...

did you spray it 449 sports blue or 432 monaco blue?? looks 449 in the pictures..... might explain the difference in the colour of the stickers...
