    a plan to me .

whats special with "turbo spec spark plugs" ? what could be used on a f7p with similar conversion ?

also am i right thinking the standard ecu could be mapped to run this with
bigger injectors and a turbo map sensor ?
i think the sparkplugs i same type of plugs but a different heatrange.

    yes

can run the fastchips low boost chip and simply run the actuator to 7psi, it will fuel fine i would of thought but can get that checked anyway

no the chip should work out the box so long as you fit 21 turbo injectors and map sensor

it wont be perfect but it will be safe, have the fuelling checked though to be sure tho mate

few of the low boost chips float about on ebay, and sometimes crop up on the forums

new they are about 200 quid from engine dynamics, although its possible to buy direct from fastchips, but i cant get hold of them so they may of gone under?

ayee 21 turbo map sensor and injectors will be there
any ideas what sort of power increase would come with this ?

regarding the chip would it not run much better if i get the
car mapped on rollers which would cost around £300
unless of course i find the chip much cheaper .

i'd be tempted to get a proper map yes, but 300 is cheap tbh, most quotes i've had for standard management maps are 450 odd

just noticed the lowest boost chip on engine dynamics website is for 9 psi
and even that says you got to run lower c/r (9.0:1 )
still confused , can this work on standard c/r or not

i am taking the 9 of the road soon (no i am not buying a clio )
for some tlc which includes extra powahh .
money is burning da pockets , i was allready torn between mat browns arse cheeks and the f7r conversion.
and now the idea of low boost ,low cost turbo on existing f7p

If a r5 runs about 7/8 psi on a 7.5 :1 std..(dont quote me) then a f7p should run 8/9 psi if you put a thicker gasket or sandwich plate on?
