No R5GT turbo or 5 turbo? That's surprising.

    Yea, I was surprised too.

Although the 5 was a classic motor I don't think they handled as well the others mentioned

IMHO a factory scooby is not a drivers car. Fairly quick in a straight line and has loads of grip. If you want to drive quickly in all weather conditions, without having to do anything, then they are hard to beat. Drivers car though? not in my book. For a fun journey I would take a Williams, 306 GTi-6/Rallye, 106GTi/Rallye or a 205GTi over one without a doubt.

Factory R33 Skyline? again nothing to write home about, why have this rather than an R32?

Given what is in the list an RX-7 is a glaring omission.

It's really hard to comprehend how they objectively jump from a Zonda to Ferrari to Clio and rate them within the context of drivers cars. For me, a Zonda or Ferrari will always be > than 99% of other cars.

Renault had 2 in the top 100, the R26R and the Trophy. Pug 205 came 23rd.

if you think 30th was a bad score...look at what the Willy beat:
    Skyline GTR came 21st
is 22 better than 21 and it placed 30

Maybe having access to those types of cars on a daily basis (and without having to cope with the running costs!) diminishes the other worldy status of them a tad?

No matter what though, I partly love my Williams because I like the way it looks, and the fact its a just a Clio yet still does so well after all these years Nice to see it still rated right up there with the big boys :P
