Stupid electrics!!!

Here's a good one for you.

This hasn't ever happened to me before with all the 11 clios I've owned

started the hybrid today for the first time in few mo the as im gunna get it mot'd and in the road, and in typical Renault fashion it can emit problems even just sitting there hehe

ok so I do the typical mot checks, brake lights, reverse light, then I turn the head lights onto low beam and it pulls the driver window up and I can't do anything with it untill I turn head lights off. Pressed button to get window down and when it hits the bottom if you keep ur finger on button it will keep your head lights on for you. Also had alittle few puffs of smoke come from the dash behind the steering wheel.

First thing Im gunna check obviously is the bit behind steering wheel, see if any wires have melted, but if there's nothing there then where should I start after ?
