Mmm interesting, for me i dont mind a bit of paint if i know the history.

Lower mileage the better for me.

like iv told u all along. milegae is nowt. bodywork is where its at.untouched examples being the better buy.

so what would you rather have.... orginal paint with all orginal bits bearing in mind the thing is 16 years old or a full restore project that has had thousands spent on it..

aye maybe mate. id just rather buy an untouched version as then you know EXACTLY what your getting. fresh paint could be covering up a multitude of sins. the condition would be reflected in the price, a good cond 1 will bring the higher price obv. but how pissed off would you be if you had to then start paying out for more arch work in a couple years??

I think it is getting to the point where getting a mint untouched (by paint) Williams 1 is a luxury you do not have.

I don't mind buying one with sprayed arches. Sure you may need them doing at some point in the future but whatever happens, painted or not this is most likley to be the conclusion.
