YES!!!!! reduced pressure with vacuum, increased with boost. Just like any regulator

that's what connecting the vac line does
    i know

what im saying is, not all vac ones INCREASE fuel pressure.

it will work to a certain extent but not above around 10psi or so i've been led to believe, never tested it myself but for the sake of 50 quid its worth the 'upgrade' as it were to be safe imo

got it working fine at around 15 psi on a stock regulator.

The only benefit you might see with an upgrade is a greater range of correction, ie, if you were running 2 bar for example (extreme case) the stock reg would likely be out of range

standard works but if you want increased fuel pressure at higher boost, you want a progressive fpr.

linear fpr 1:1 ex 3bar fuelpressure is always 3bar over manifold pressure
    Progressive ex 1:1,2 at 1bar boost you get 3x 1.2 = 3,6bar
