    fuel tank foam/baffles

is there an easy way to tell if they are in there?

its either that or my fuel guage is on the blink

put a 5l jerry can in the other day and it went up to around 1/4 of a tank

then put another £15 in and it went beyond 3/4 full

Take the pump housing out and there should be a White plastic semi circle they to help with surge.

Im not sure tif there are any other baffles.

im just thinking that maybe a previous owner has put tank foam etc in there to help with surge, and thats why it doesnt take alot to fill it up?

More likely the sender unit and the resistor float causing the issue.
