    Hope this post is too late, or you are still struggling. Jam nut tight with nail or similar. Use angle grinder and cutting disc to remove whole arc of nut. Ok if you don't need to worry about splines.

    borrow the dremel from lainer and cut the hubnut out from to sides
    than smash it with hammer ,watch for 2 halves come apart
    job done

    i have a dremel if u need to borrow it mate, have cutting stones and discs.... let me know, would take about 5mins with it.

    Its taking hours as my drill keeps running low of batteries and I've broken 3 drill bits and the other ones suck.

    if the thread is stripped,get a socket the same diameter of the shaft thread..
    then get a big hammer n whack it hard , then unscrew.
    do this over n over again.

    jeez guys on here are so bitchy to each other, just useful comments would probably be helpful. im guessing with all this advise you have it sorted by now. i'd personally have gone for the cutting option. cant be assed with piss assing about with things like that. anyhow hope its sorted... we still have our problems but as long as another is done
