    bleed nipple broke. :( help

What a rubbish day. Raining non stop and my bleed nipple broke on the rear driverside caliper. It was brand new as well!

Luckily I'ts attatched to another bolt before meeting the caliper. Does anyone know what this bolt is called? Ill need to find a replacement.

Can I use this bolt as a 'bleeder' until I find a replacement? The snapped nipple is stuck fast inside it.

    Advice much appreciated!

i have that type of secondary nuts on the fuego turbo rear calipers .
its a great idea imo as bleed nipples are to thin and snap easily .

not sure where you can get one from but ,personally i would get
the nut out ,block the hole temporarily to avoid fluid loss .
and try to remove the snapped nipple out as you can get the nipple
from ebay for a few quid .

sounds like your caliper has been fitted with an adapter bolt because its been refurbished at some point.
adapter bolts are used when the original bleed nipple has snapped and cant be removed.
only way to fix it is, another refurb or a new caliper.
