    cant you get a valver ecu and stick a standard willy chip in it ??

    So long as its 1991 onwards (fenix 3a) then you will be fine. the map chips are compatible.

    The only different ones are the 1990 ecu's (early phase 1 valvers). these use different map locations and don't run an o2 sensor (or a cat iirc).

    Was it made after 1991? :D

    Not sure actually, as far as i know though the "map locations" hence the map chips are the same, however im not sure if there is extra guff in there for an immobiliser... dont think so though?
