    "BLEEDING BRAKES"!

    Right ladies an gents, whats the sequence for bleeding the brakes on the willys 2.......ive decided to drain the system an replace master cylinder and front discs an pads....ive already done the rear....cheers guys!

    afaik you start furthest away from the master cylinder, so rear left, rear right, front left then front right

    Cheers Paddy,..........should help get rid of the "sponge" an replace it with proper brakes

    have you got braided hoses? they really make a positive difference imo

    bleed with bias valve open or closed? or no difference?

    thats a thought paddy, braided hoses , might as well considerin im doin everythin else.

    ..bias valve open or close,,,,,,you know i didnt check that katbloke?........thanks

    Bleed with bias valve open, preferably with wheels on ground. If it's seized, easy to sort.

    couldn't say how much improvement they make on their own as I replace everything all at the same time, discs, pads, calipers and hoses. Then I took it to a garge to get it on a pressure bleeder and put some mercedes AMG fluid in and all that lot made a massive improvement with the brakes

    that was all fine for a bit then I got some wilwoods

    how much difference they make will depend how shagged the originals are

    Thats true maxi,....im due to check the front end this saturday...i know the "bendix" system is simple enough ,so for now ill just clean the system up (as long as it works) an see what happens
