Ok well first off you need to see if you can actually remove the pins that are in the door already. I could get 3 out easy but the head snapped off one and it had to be drilled out by an engineer and he had to apply a lot of heat and only due to him being a specialist did it not result in any damage etc...

If they all come out its pretty simple, get a trolley jack and a piece of wood and place it on the outer end of the door to support its weight when you release the pins from the hinges, it can be done on your own.... makesure to unclip the power lines and connectors from the inner door. Once it's off just swap over all the parts and reverse.... job done!

Piece of piss to be honest.

2 person job though IMO from what I recall from when I did it. Door is surprisingly heavy as hell and you need to line the pins up which is almost impossible trying to do that yourself, then trying to get the pins in. Plus the pins are tight as a nuns chuff in the slots!!

Its all self explanatory as far as doing it.

If your swaping the locks, thats quite fiddly!

You might also find that the door wont line up properly as the brackets on the cars pillar are most likely to be different in the way theyre set.

Mine never lined up properly and wouldnt close spot on.

Those are the probs I encountered!!

Its an easy job mate that really you can only figure out when you have a go at it!!

I have just had both my doors changed over, and yes a right pain in the arse, The pins snapping are an issue aswell as the door lining up at the end of it all. I ordered extra pins.....i have 3 left if u want them off me?
