    high idle

    after cleaning the iscv, my idle is between 1.5-3k any ideas?

    duff iscv or loose earth somewhere or speedo cable not quite plugged in

    earths are fine, wires all where they should be, double checked mark :D you proud? haha

    iscv must be ****ed then. waaa :(

    has it only started to idle high since you cleaned ISCV??

    haha, i did learn, it was broke, it idled like a bag of shit before and used to try and cut out at junctions.

    i cleaned it with carb cleaner matey

    Check the pipe leading from the ISCV to the inlet manifold. It could simply be it is not on properly and is causing more air to be let in that the ISCV allows on idle, hence high idle.

    The pipe connecting the ISCV and the airbox should be irrelevant as air would still have to pass through the ISCV, and thus be controlled input.

    Either that or the ISCV is sticking open.

    You could clean the flywheel sensor as well, I did mine the other day and it sorted a stalling issue. I had a load of shit buildup and tiny metal flakes due to drilling out my core plug which probably upset it.
