    thing is i doubt any secondhand are now decent..most are very worn and had a hard life..

    between 50/100 and most need a rebuild..

    the box that was on my williams had covered about 80k and the gearchange and feel of the box was much better than quite allot of the newish cars ive driven, even my other half's 206 which has only done 15k.

    all depends on how its treated and what oil you use and how often you change it imo

    yes to a point but any syncros with 80k are still nearing the end of there life not starting at the beginning..and most are above that..you will get a serviceable box that works if your lucky but even early 172 boxes are getting on..and at 150/200 quid your not far from a rebuild

    just my opinion..
