Where can U take scrap metal (a valver door for example) to be scrapped?

Normal tip won't take em and I don't know of anywhere else as I've never needed one!

Got other bits from the old house that need shifting too.

not from ur area m8 but look up a company called emr metal's, i work in demolition and we use them for all our scrap. they take companys or public stuff and pay nicely to. they have depos all over uk =)

I need to get rid of all these mk1 bits that are no good anymore - can the percentage of rust be greater then the metal content or will I have to seperate it?
