    Exhaust blowing (help)

right my devil exhaust always blows at the joint where the back box meets the centre pipe. the joint is not the conventional sleeve type but a bell type joint, where the zorst butts up together and then clamped. whats the best way to make this airtight??? (names of products) is it best to wrap the joint as well???

thats what ive got on the car at the moment! been looking up on V clamps. they are pricier but seem a better fitment. and they give a perfect gas tight seal.

Refered to as "v" shaped because if you look at the inside of the clamp it's a v shape. You must have the right clamp as nothing else would hold the two ends together. What might be missing though is the metal ring that sits snuggly between the two bellends and makes the seal, the ring can be coated in gungun or similar to effect a gas tight seal, it would be pretty much impossible without it.
