    Read the comic first.

You can get the screen version at any bittorent site.

There is a lot going on in Watchmen, and it's good to understand the dystopian society they live in, and the motivation of the characters, which you get a better grip of by reading it first.

just realised secretary who sits outside my office has the comic version will have to nab it

I do prefer reading stuff first I like to use my imagination about what people look like etc but suppose it won't be the same reading a comic

I saw it one sunday, thought it was a great film and really well done.

I dunno if id recommend reading the novel first tbh becuase i saw the film after getting half way through the novel and the film folows it quite close imo apart from the odd thing. As the novel is a comic book with pictures you can see them recreated on the big screen just how they were in the comic. I was glad when the film got to the bit id read up to so i didnt know what was goin on to be honest. Otherwise, i sat there knowing whats gonna happen next.

They changed the ending to the film from the comic version slightly cuz i read it when i got home. Glad they cnahnged it cuz the end in the book is a bit ott lol
