where to buy helmets from?

i have a trackday at knockhill coming up!

(might need to remember how to drive round a track again but hey!!!) :P

but seriously.... need to get a helmet for fiona, so just lookin for a reasonable priced helmet, probably open faced.

dont fancy paying 300 quid for something that doesnt get used all that much, but is very important saftey item.

Motorcycle shop would be your best bet i'd say.

Should be able to get a cheap polycarbonate one for under a 100.

I agree. Much cheaper in bike shops than you pay for 'proper' motorsport items, although Peltor and Stilo both do very nice open face helmets! I think if it is just for occasional use by a passenger at a track day then a bike helmet would be fine.
