    Track day cameras

I'd like to know what people are using to get their footage.

What sort of resolution do you get? How do you mount the camera? Are you using HD or solid state storage for the clips?

Pretty good footage there, and not bad quality

I have looked at bullet cams, and DVI HD packs as well.

Next year will be a year of events and trackdays I hope so I want to get some on camera and a few spirited road drives too with the lads (and lasses ;) ) down here. I am quite handy at video editing so I want to make a compilation etc of the stuff we get up too

Sony DCR-HC42E Mini DV with a [url=http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en&safe=off&q=manfrotto+camera+clamp&u m=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&resnum=1&ct=title]MANFROTTO CLAMMANFROTTO CLAMP(Which are the bollocks by the way)

Would recomend a mini DV or solid state camera/recorder as they are more resistant to vibration
