For sale my Renault Clio Williams Phase 1 Number 139

    Hi all,

Right as some of you may know I have recently purchased my dream car a Nissan Skyline R33 GTR. Unfortunally I really cant afford to run two cars so my pride and joy Renault Clio Williams has to be sold

Right then let me tell you about the car and post some pics up.

    - 1993 Renault Clio Williams Phase 1 Number 139
    - 118,000 miles
    - 5 owners from new
    - FSH
    - £3000

    Bad Points

    - As per usual on these cars there are a few stone chips
    - The electric window regulators could do with replacing
    - The passenger side door pin does not work via the remote fob
    - A couple of dial bulbs need to be replaced
    - The arches could do with a bit of attention
    - The heater does not throw out a huge amount of hot air

The car has had a complete re-spray by a prevous owner and I still have all the documentation for the work. Apart from a few stone chips and car park dinks the paint work looks stunning. The wheels have also been re-ferbed and look great still but could maybe do with a re-ferb, to be honest I am very particulate thats just me but im trying to be as honest as possible.

To be honest there are not very many things wrong with the car and everything listed apart from the dial bulbs have been present ever since I have owned the car, I have just concentrated of spending my money on more important things such as the engine rather than the few little bits thats I just have not had the time to look at.

    Good Points

    - 2 Sets of keys, one Renault and one that I had cut for a spare by Renault
    - Full Cobra alarm and immobliser
    - 2 Cobra alarm and immobliser fobs
    - Full HID light conversion kit installed (Dipped and full beam, looks stunning)
    - Led Sidelights (also included are normal bulbs)
    - K&N induction Kit
    - Full powerflow stainless steel exhaust system from the cat back with inward rolled 3.5" tailpipe (see pics)
    - K-tec cat bypass fitted
    - Catalittic converter included to pass the emissions test come MOT time
    - Gold badges all round as well as a brand new set (see pics)
    - K-tec frount suspension turret strut brace (see pics)
    - Sony Mini Disc head unit with 3.5mm headphone jack for use with ipod etc (see pics)
    - New Renault spark plug cover (see pics)
    - New Renault heat shield (see pics)
    - Recently had a new starter motor and altanator installed
    - Fairly new kuhmo tyres all round
    - New clutch
    - New heavy duty battery
    - New front suspension springs
    - New cam belt change
    - Wheel lock nuts including key
    - M.O.T till June 25th 2009
    - Tax till May 31st 2009

I also have all the paperwork for every piece of work that has been carried out since I have owned the car which must be around 3 years now. I even have the original paperwork from the 1st buyer when the car was purchased as well as all the paperwork from the prevous owners (see pics)

There really has been no expence spaired. To be completely honest I dont want to sell her but as I said earlyer I just cant afford to run two cars.

The last bill I had for the car was £2000 which was for a new clutch, complete cambelt change as well as a few other bits so really all the main work here has been taken care of. The car drives perfectly, has so much power, is so much fun to drive, she is a complete drivers dream and never misses a beat, she starts first time every time and has been one of the most enjoyable cars that I have ever driven! The new owner really will be getting a absolute monster of a car for a great price.

Here is my mobile number: 07736320456, if interested feel free to call anytime to ask any questions or arrange a viewing. I work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern at the airport so if I do not answer please leave me a message with your name and number and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Alternatley drop me a PM via this site and I will respond when I can.

I am located about ten minutes away from Gatwick Airport.

    Jamie

    Hello mate,

right the GTR is unbleveable, its a complete monster of a car and nothing like I have ever driven. I do need to raise her up a little tho on the full adjustibles as I can hear the tyres rubbing on the arches when on full lock and hitting a bump for example.

I use my Skyline all the time everyday going to work and back and to be honest petrol wise she is very good for what it is. 400BHP and ill get approx 220 miles from a full tank depending on driving of course

Ill post some pics when I get a chance but for the time being I just want to find my Williams a good home.

I am however going to get myself on a driving tuition course as im cool with her in a straight line but they can be a little scary on corners with all that power.

Know what you mean! You should try a 2 wheel drive one with 400 bhp It can be erm tricky. Get the HICAS locking bar fitted it sorts out the floaty and vauge back end

No offence intended mate but I think its way overpriced. For the work that needs doing it certainly doesnt stack up to the asking price of 3k.

I have been looking around late for a Williams 1 and have seen 2's and 3's in mint condition with no rust for much less.
