Update - The Orange (new specs)

During summer I've been working on my Valver turning it into a Hybrid - had to as the old Clio Cup Grp. N engine gave up!
Car is only used for Sunday drives and track days.
It's only semi stripped - I might remove some more weight at some point.

    New specs of The Orange....

    F7R BE
Stand alone ECU (currently with 7600rpm. limit)
Lightened and balanced BE (pistons and rods within 1g difference)

    Modified head
Green air filter in std. modified air box
    Stainless-steel Devil manifold
    2,5" custom stainless-steel exhaust
Pacet fan controlled by low temp thermostat

    Transmission:
    Std. Valver JB3-053 gearbox
Sinter metal Sachs clutch - lightened version
    Sadev short throw conversion
Renault Sport alloy/fiber bush kit for gear lever

    Other:
“No spillage” modification of servo fluid reservoir
Powerflex bushes in dog bone mount
    R19 Gearbox/sub frame mount
    Grp. N engine mounts
Battery relocation (low position behind passenger seat)
    Stud and nut conversion

    Brakes:
    Brembo Max discs
    PF97 pads
    Braided brake lines
    Std. rear discs and pads

    Rear bumper Nana style
    Smoked side-repeaters
Phase 2 rear light clusters and boot-strip
Removed bump-strips – front, rear, sides
    Roof strips removed
    Antenna moved to rear
    Sunroof – yes unfortunately…
Angel eyes with 4300K xenon - not to everybody's taste...

    Interior:
    Momo steering wheel
    Momo pedals
    OMP steering wheel spacer
Sparco Pro 2000 seats – from Sandtler Motorsport
    6 point FIA seat belts
    Alcantara inserts on door cards
    Alcantara gaiter
Devil rear strut brace (for seat belts)

    Performance:
At first it was mapped when it had a 2" exhaust on.
With first map it made 178bhp @ fly - 190Nm.
    I was a little disappointed.
The guy mapping it suggested the exhaust was simply to small in diameter. Then had a 2,5" exhaust made and got it mapped again yesterday.

Baseline result before new map was 182bhp @ fly - 200Nm
After a little tweak of the ignition map the result was a healthy 198bhp @ fly - 230Nm
Very surprised of the difference an exhaust and a new map can make!
Best part is i can feel the extra power!
    Now - I'm not disappointed anymore! :D

Next step is ITB's - need to rob a bank though!

I'm sure most of you had the servo fluid spill all over the engine bay.
I've had this happen even when there was the correct amount of fluid in.
Sometimes it just gets too hot - so it spills out the little vent hole.

I've taken a pipe normally used for extracting fuel from fueltanks when installing parking heaters. Cut it to length, drilled a hole in the cap, conneted a small hose which end just behind the right front wheel. If anything comes out on a hot day at the track - at least its not in my engine bay. I know it should be collected somehow so it would not end up on the tarmac - anyway it would end on on the tarmac even without this mod.

    Pics to follow....
