basically I own a willy 3, which is just bound to happen, so I was wondering if people can give me some rough ideas how much news sills, arches and jacking points would set me back?

hijacking this thread slightly - if anyone knows of sills and bodywork like knowledgey things....my willy 3 has mint sills on both sides, with only one problem that one sill has a slight bend in it where sumone has improperly jacked. as much as it love to get the mallet on it, i dont think id knock it straght and true again. would a bodyshop be able to do this?

just a guide. my escort needed roughly 25 inches. on the inner and outter sills and about 10 inches inside the car. this took 2 and 1/2 solid days work to get right. i had it all cut out and re-made using 0.8mm steel. this should have cost me around £400 but my father in law is in the trade. got my willy going in as soon as the turbo is back for new rear arches dependant on how bad the rust is.

you have the inner sill which is underside. the outer sill and inside the car goes inbetween the both so you gotta check how bad they are.
