    Clio gone...new car lowered

    With the RSI now gone i thought i'd treat my daily car to something new...so after a 3 day wait i'm now down 40mm on Eibach Pro springs!

    Won't be to everyones taste being a Ford but i'm happy.

    Handling for such a big car is brilliant now...as std they're pretty good but prone to nose diving under hard braking. Thats now gone and it sticks so much more...no understeer on roundabouts and bonus of bonus's the 4x4 look is gone.

    The 3 day wait was a bit of an arse but part of the abs loom had been chopped and bodged by the previous owner so had to wait for a replacement :(

    Just got to clean it now so the gloss black wheels come out... lol

    Thanks for the comments folks

    Its just a 1.8 16v so i'm not going to be burning anyone away at the lights but once its up to speed it'll cruise happily beyond the speed limit. My route to work is all d/c (90mph+) so it does me fine.

    Robocop?

    You won't beleive it m8 but thats where i got the black wheel idea from! The cop cars in those films looked plain mean with the black wheels/lack of shiny bits!

    Anyway, need to get the thing cleaned inside and out now...thats been 6 months now i haven't bothered so itas due some TLC i reckon...

    BTW how do you think it'd look with the 'goodyear' writing picke out in white? I keep thinking the black on the wheels need broken up a little but don't want it looking chavvy - needs to retain that mean/don't give shit look lol

    front ones will just scrub off on when you corner a bit hard anyway due to tyre roll

    Didnt think about that.

    I may just leave them TBH - it looks pretty good once clean;

    Tints would make a difference i reckon...
