I've just changed to Korda wide gapes in a size 6.

Hook hold on them is spot on, not lost one yet on them.

If i'm fishing somewhere which is a runs water, thorpe lea for example i'll use a size 8 as the fish have been hammered and have no lips left, nowhere for 6's to bite into.

    Some lovely fish there bradus.

Where bouts you fishing at the minute then mate? 20's 30's and a 40+ sounds like a nice weekend venue. Can you day ticket it or syndicate?

understand if you don't want to say, Secret squirrel and all that lol. Such a secretive world the old angling circle.

    cheers mate

its lake in colchester that has a long waiting list and you have to live local to get a ticket on it....you can do day tickets if you go down with a member

is a pukka lake just tricky at times..but i like a challenge

Typical trick of holding the fish far away makes it look bigger :P

Bradus have you ever heard of fryerning fisheries.

Its my grandmas lake that my uncle runs. got some bigguns in there now
