    1 big problem is no reverse gear on motorbike gearbox, so sorting that out would cost big money. also i dont think the gearbox would last well considering the fact that a clio is just shy of 1000kg and a bike is 200kg thats a fair bit more stress.

    Zcars make gearboxs that have reverse...maybe you could buy one of them and do the engine etc yourself/elsewhere.

    wasnt there a bike engined williams in max power or something years and years ago bout 7 i think,i swear it had a haybussa engine in???

    Well, with the bike engine in the front the weight distribution would be sorted though. 50/50 more like...

    Plus if you completely strip out the car I'm sure you could get the weight down quite a lot, which would help the engine.

    It would have hell of a wheel spin though!!

    under acceleration, weight distribution favours RWD for traction....not FWD....especially not when the only weight over the front is 50kg.

    i.e even though the engine is in the rear and still only 50kg, under acceleration, the weight ditribution shifts massively to the rear...aiding traction. The same weight shift for a FWD 50kg engine would mean big traction issues, as the weight shifts rear-wards.
