Can anyone get PIAA bulbs at a cheap price?

are these the bulbs in the HID lights?

No, they're 'standard' fit H4 bulbs but they produce (apparently) 110/100w despite only being rated at 60/55w.

Or you can get non- 'e' marked ones that pull 80/80w but produce 135/125w!

You pay for the quality though, sadly :(

You're local to me aren't you fatboy? If so you'll have to have a drive of mine with them in to see what they're like (assuming I can get a replacement one that isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg...)


Given that I'm unlikely to find any for uber-cheap, any recommendations by anyone for best-priced places would be greatly received

Shame they no longer sell them. Don't seem terribly priced though.
Its annoying they cost so much. As there the best on the market.
