hi mate was it you that has replaced the bonnet studs once they have snapped...

did a search but couldn't find any thing.

yes done they loads now on 3 bonnets. Arse of a job to do as its a 2 man job.

You will need a drill and drill stand that can limit the depth of the drill

Drill out old stud - taking care not to go too far and mark the bonnet
Tap the bonnet to accept new stud
Tighten stud into hole (with loctite) using two nuts locked together

I modifed a stud to look like the originals and once painted over you carnt tell.
