As eternalife said they work perfectly with the lift up reverse without any need for modifications.

Just to update this a bit more there is actually another part that comes with the shifter in order to shorten the throw even more, and I didn't even have it fitted in the video.

The extra part is fitted at the gearbox end of the linkage so that the linkage itself doesn't have to move as much. Here is a quick pic of the shortened part next to the original one:

With this fitted the gear change is VERY short, even shorter than in the video. Personally I love it being this short, but if anyone felt it was too short you always have the option of keeping the standard arm at the gearbox end. So effectively you have the option of two stages with this shifter, you can make the change very short by fitting the shifter and the gear arm at the gearbox end, or you could just fit the shifter itself to make it as you saw in the video.

If anyone else is interested in these please keep adding your names to the list. These will also fit R5's, early meganes (need to check if they fit the later ones) and should also fit Mk2 clios however I intend to test the fitting on a Mk2 clio before selling them for the Mk2.

Just to let everyone know I have just fitted my short shifter the difference is amazing the gear changes feel so more positive alot quicker and no sloppy gear stick any more. Wasnt to hard to fit took around 2-3 hours but you need a set of circlip pliers. Which are very cheap but make the job a thousand times easier Over all one of the best mods I have done to the hybrid really does make a big difference.
