First night out in the RT valver

    how slow are 1.4s

took my RT valver out for the first time last night for a bit of a shakedown.
im bloody impressed. it has a bit of a blow on the exhaust and runs a bit rich/sickly low down but once its "wound up" it shifts. had a bit of a play with a few things aswell, an astra coupe 1.8....it didnt stand a chance, a mildly tuned glanza....it didnt get past but there was not much in it, and a big ass lexus gs thing the driver of that loved it when he caught me up again.

also had a spin in the williams van last night.....7R BE and cams are needed in mine now lol

the limiter on the engine when it was a 1.4 was rediculously harsh, felt like it was slamming the brakes on.

What sort of revs are you doing at 95-100ish?

On the track, of course ;)

obv depends on the gear mate, had it to nearly 100 in 3rd at about 7k, then 130 in 4th at 6k all clock figures.

next time im on my private runway ill have a look at 100 in 5th
