    Break Lights

    Hello,

I have had only one working light for a while now, bulbs are fine etc, now the both dont work...

Im going to do some fault finding, but was wondering if someone could tell me where the switch was that is triggered when breaking, so i can start my testing there.

    do your sidelights work?

i had this issue and it turned out to be the bulb carrier in the cluster, the bulbs werent locating correctly as the springs in the bottom of the slot for the bulbs had lst its srping, so quick bend back out with a screwdriver and roberts your fathers so to speak

I'd start by testing the switch. I've got a similar setup on another car but on the clutch as well to make sure you don't start it in gear (you have to depress the clutch fully before you can start it up - silly safety idea I guess) but the switch sometimes gets stuck and then the car won't start

Would it be the switch if one worked for a while? I would have thought the switch would either work both or none?? *shrugs*

    Could it be earths?
