Gave the car a hard bit of driving yesterday and tested the brakes from about 70 - 10 mph, hard. The brakes were excellent but the engine cut out and I ended up having to restart while coasting along.
Any ideas?

when was the ISCV last cleaned ?
i try and do mine at least once every 12 months
Well, I've cleaned it about 4 times now, all recently. Could be a faulty ISCV but it's not because it's dirty!
Also, if I pump the brakes fast while stationary the revs rise slightly and when i stop pumping it starts to falter a little, not stalling, just lower idle.
i have a spair iscv you can try if you want
have you checked the servo hose and servo for leaks mate
I have checked it but maybe I missed something. All the pipes seem whole and sound, but it is possible there is a leak I guess.Originally Posted by MAXIBOY

When I made it stall, I was REALLY hard hard the brakes and I pumped them hard too. It's not a problem for daily driving but if I went on track it could be.
