    on willy wheel refurb....

    what does the diamond cut rim mean?

    The wheel is placed on a lathe and the rim of the wheel is cut with a diamond tipped instrument giving the lines that you see under the lacquer.

    ... that is assuming that they lacquer it, as not all do, citing the reason that it's hard to get lacquer to 'stick' to a polished/smooth surface! lol

    There are ways of getting the lacquer to stick.

    ditto, if i buy the willy i'm thinking about it will be one of the first things i do after i find another 2 OZ F1's..

    f1's will then become my track wheels and will probably paint them bright pink or yoellow or something just for the crack! lol
