Need Help, Yorkshire

Hi all, Ive been having a problem with my valver now for some time and its definitly getting worse.

Bassicly theres oil in the plug tubes and its filling up bit by bit and you can barely see one of my spark plugs now from oil!

my garage had a look at it but didnt really say any causes to be honest, I was wondering if I could pay someone on here to sort it for me? Im in the Hull area, thanks alot

hi m8 well it sounds like the cam cover gasket is leaking oil so think its worth getting a new one and trying that i had similar prob on my willy and that cured it :D :D :D :D

yup sounds like rocker gasket to me too, get one and do it yourself, only a few bolts

I know this is probably alot too late. But theres a good lad called Ricky in royston near barnsley. His shop is called RickyPRPM. Specialises in french cars. Used to have a silly fast GT Turbo 5'. Never heard anything bad about him. Theres also Performance Direct in Cudworth near Barnsley. Dunno much about them really will try and find out some info.

yeah deffo sounds like cam cover gasket at fault there, you've got 3 options to fix this

1. the coops pikey method - make a replacement gasket from a cereal box
2. Buy a replacement gasket - plenty available on ebay etc
3. Buy a PTFE cam cover gasket off hill_power_clio on here
