correct cam timing?

the intake length is way too short....

when u asked me to measure the lenght of the intake,do u mean from the throttle butterfly to the head or from the end of the trumpet to the head?

from the back of the valve to the end of trumpet.

just by looking at the pics, and the fact its ona std rad, its apparent the induction length is shorter than required.

Arr in that case just had another measure-from valve head to end of the trumpet you are looking at appx 250mm.
with the costom manifold it has a slight degree upwards,if the manifold was dead straight the carbs would then foul the rad.
had her all stripped down yesterday and triple checked the cam timing..it was spot on, even used the timing disc aswell
was getting full lift @ 110' etc etc-pipers specs anyway.
a nice cosworth may now be on the list instead!
