best software for splitting mp3's???

got an album and its been made into one continuous mp3 file. all i want to do is split the one long file into single songs. tried using nero to do it but it was too complex for me...

i use cool edit, same sorta thing as nero, shows you the sound waves, and just copy from the start to end of each song and cut and paste in new file till you end up with just the last track remaining
