    My Cars Covered in TAR!!!!

    gave the car a quick clean today as i hadnt cleaned it in a few months due to the cold weather!!!

    anyway....after cleaning i've discovered aload of Tar splattered down the left and right hand sides and over the boot

    how the hell can i clean this off without attacking each individual spot as there feckin shit loads on there

    can any1 recomend any products???

    aye it is a nightmare that like, erm i'm pretty sure theres a product in the meguiars range that can sort that out, check there wen page, a mate of mine used something from them on his 205.

    Megs clay bar. Do the whole car with it, it will do wonders for the paintwork.

    Yep as above, Meguiars clay bar, followed by Scratch X and finish off with Gold Class wax, will look minter than mint!

    for stubborn stuff use a bit of white spirit (provided your care is already protected by wax) it will take the wax off it but not damage the paint, then just re-wax the car, had to do the ibiza not so long ago and it works well

    Try using a clar bar with detailer spray.

    If it's really stubborn then Autosmart Tardis will do the job.

    use Auto Glym Tar Remover, leave it to soak for 2 mins and it will wipe straight off
