    Clio Prima, Valver project

Just wanted to get some advice/opinions.

I know of a clean M reg clio prima which requires an engine change.

I was thinking of finding an accident damaged 16v and swapping the engine, gearbox, brakes to the clio prima making a nice little sleeper.

I am looking to run a subtle exhaust and 15" steel wheels with wheel trims.

The Prima has no powersteering or any electrics such as windows or mirrors, therefore reducing the weight and power drain from these systems.

I want the car to look completely original so no vented bonnet or 16v wings.

What problems or issues would i face?

    Is it worth doing?

lol, ye go 4 it then, i must admit i had a 1.1l saxo and i put a 106 gti engine in there, i didnt upgrade anythin else apart from breaks and rear beam, is was fine untill i was showin off, then snaped a shaft, it was well good tho!

i personally dont think u will have a problem, i could be wrong tho,

Wanted to know if it will all fit in with the original bonnet.

I would also change the driveshafts etc.

Also wanted to know if the valver subframe set up is different and if it will fit to the prima using the standard non flared wings?

not sure on the bonnet but i think i remember these fit with a few internal mods.
front everything will be fine. rear the axle might be a little wide depending on the drop...

I wasn't thinking of changing the rear axle. I would swap over the rear brakes though.

Would be nice to have a list of what should be swapped over.

I heard somewhere that the standard bonnet will come in contact in with the inlet manifold which would need grinding down. Would like to know if this is true.

I did think of that but thought it would be ok as I don't rag it in hot weather.
