Mk1 Clio rsi - Volvo Turbo Engine

If what people have told me is correct about the engines being identical apart from the volvo having a turbo strapped on, would it be possible or striaght forward enough to get a 2nd hand turbo set up from a volvo 440t/460t/480t and stick it on the rsi lump?

I know people are going to say why not just do a full conversion but i was just wondering.

Fairly certain stuff like compression won't be right once you put the turbo bits on. You'll also likely need to buy a complete volvo lump to get the bits so may as well put it in in that case.

Possible yes, worthwhile and straightforward no.
