it's expensive yeah, but it's a big step up either way... the problem is the rest of the engine (ie bottom end) is not yet matching the top half of the engine work... hopefully Mehdi will address the bottom end and get some forged pistons and a 9k rev limit :D

And brakes Mark, will be in touch ASAP, this gearbox has buggered my bank account.
Its all about what you think its worh at the end of the day, cams and map you can get done for under 1k, you'll see good gains, the next step is bodies, lord knows i've gone through enough Clio's to know there is no easy way. A lot of money for the engine sure, but no other Clio in N/A form will be as quick or sound as terrifying. It's just what you think it's worth!

the bodies use an interesting amount of fuel! it's not actually that bad, if you drive it gentle i'd expect 250-300 out of a full tank... Clean managed to 160+ish out of a full tank, but most of that was at 6k+ rpm which aint bad!

it will be at Warringot tonight, not quite 100% yet though so might be taking it easy(ish). Fuel consumption, well it depends how much you cane it, i reckon i can go through a full tank in less then 150 miles, but under 35% throttle or 4k its economy mapped so fuel consumption is excellent
