Hi, I've been in contact with them over the last few days. I've been waiting until I had some concrete information but here's the lo-down right now.

CGB are generally well known and trusted in R5 GTT circles. I'll find out whether they build their own clutches or not.

I've spoken to them regarding getting a clutch rated for over 200 ft-lbs and they'll get back to me with specs and a price

A couple of people have mentioned that they may swap to the slightly larger 17'2/18'2 flywheel and clutch. CGB says that clamping load is the important factor and the slight increase in diameter will make v. little, or no, difference.

I'll let you know v. soon

    Cheers all

plus the larger flywheel uses totally different TDC sensor settings etc so wont run under chipped f7 management, stand alone only application to run that setup.

its does make a difference as its been proven by a few lads on RTOC but as said i cant run it without forking out for new management at the same time and tbh i aint got the time, patience or money, 200mm ftw!

    Right heres the deal:
First off, I got the name wrong It's CG Motorsport (easy mistake to make). A performance clutch and gearbos specialist. They make the clutches themselves.

They can make a 212 ft-lbs (288nm) clutch, apparently good for nearing 300bhp.

Normally these are £280 but if they get an order for ten then they will do it for £240

CG say "If you want a higher torque rating than that then you would have to start thinking about a twin-plate clutch, which cost £600+ and don't last long
