Do you get specifically told about cat c's cat d's...

    When you have a prang?

Something just popped into my head? No-one has even mentioned that once to me infact I only spoke to the driver of the other cars insurance once but it has had a lot of work done to it to be repaired...

Surely they have to tell me that they intend to catogarise the car don't they? how do I find out or am I ok?

as far as i know if its a cat c or d then it needs to be inspected once repaired so im sure you will know if its a c or a d. But on your HPI i might show up its been repaired through the insurance.

Only Cat C needs to be inspected.
As your car was repaired and not wrote-off you should be fine and the car will remain HPI clear.
