Williams 1 immobiliser

Does anyone have any information on the factory fitted immobiliser on the Williams 1.

I have lost the fob for mine and I'm afraid all I know is that it was a gemini. Renault are know help on this.


Would appreciate any help on this .

all the info i have is same as you know
i have some crap bit of recite from 94 that just says gemini and a date no model number iirc
thats all i can tell the insurance ppl when asked

I don't suppose you know how easy it is to do away with the immobiliser if I can't get a fob replacement?

Was it the plug in chip next to the front foglight switch?

It had a plug in below right of the steering wheel column.

You may be right, i never had an oppertunity to use the fogs, so can't really remember. I did think they were in the bank of switches with the hazard etc in the middle above the radio. The car is with Renault at the moment so i cant check. If it is the one you are thinking about, do you have any information on it.
